Canvas or acrylic? Your questions, answered.

Every canvas is made to order. Your chosen artwork is digitally printed on cotton-polyester canvas (300–350 gsm), then stretched over an FSC-certified wooden frame and packed ready to hang.

Expect a visible weave and small variations in texture. That is the canvas doing its job, not a flaw.

Very close, but never identical. Screens differ in brightness and calibration, and canvas gives colour a softer, warmer look than a glowing display. If you want maximum punch, have a look at our acrylic prints.

Fade-resistant ink keeps detail sharp and colour rich for years. Like any printed art, it lasts longest away from strong direct sunlight, so avoid hanging it opposite a sunny window.

That is everything you need to hang it. For larger pieces, ask someone to help and check that your wall can take the weight.

Small, light canvases can hang from damage-free hooks or adhesive strips. For larger sizes we recommend the included hangers and screws for a secure fit.

We don’t recommend it. Canvas and wood can absorb moisture over time, which may lead to warping. For steamy rooms choose acrylic instead, for example from our Bathroom and Kitchen collections.

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaners, which can damage the surface.

Canvas prints are packed with strong edge protection and wrapped in kraft paper or bubble wrap. The kraft paper and edge protectors are generally recyclable, but local rules vary, so check what your area accepts.

Your artwork is printed directly onto a 4 mm sheet of acrylic with high-definition UV printing. The result is glossy, vivid and has a real sense of depth.

Gloss also means reflections and fingerprints show more than on a matte surface.

Yes, with a bonus: acrylic intensifies colour, so saturation and contrast look stronger than on canvas. Most people love it. If you prefer softer, natural tones, canvas is the gentler choice.

Acrylic prints are UV-resistant and built to last. No medium is completely immune to ageing, but they hold their colour very well.

Every print arrives with pre-drilled holes at each corner, plus mounting hardware and screws. A drill is required, so it is not the best fit for rentals.

The holes sit 14 mm (0.55″) from the edge, are 8 mm (0.31″) wide and take a 15 mm (0.6″) screw head.

Yes. Acrylic resists moisture and warping, which makes it a great choice for humid rooms. Just avoid direct contact with water.

Use a dry microfibre cloth for dust. For fingerprints, a soft, damp cloth with a little mild soap works best. Never use abrasive sponges.

It is a mixed picture. Acrylic is not biodegradable, but it is very durable and every piece is made on demand, so nothing is overproduced. The kraft paper and protective film in the packaging are generally recyclable.

Full-colour on 250 gsm coated silk paper (100 lb cover), professionally packed for delivery. Papers are FSC/PEFC-certified.

Canvas prints come in sizes from 8×12″ (20×30 cm) to 28×40″ (70×100 cm), acrylic prints from 8×8″ (20×20 cm) to 28×40″ (70×100 cm). The exact sizes and orientations for each piece are shown on its product page.

A good rule of thumb: above a sofa or bed, art looks best at about two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture’s width. Vertical pieces suit narrow walls and hallways; horizontal and square pieces work on wider walls.

Yes, on many canvas prints. Open the product, spin the 3D model, and on your phone tap “View in your room” to place it on your wall with augmented reality. The 3D preview is not available for acrylic yet. Every listing also shows the art in a real room.

Everything is made on demand, close to you. Canvas prints are produced in 18 countries, acrylic prints in 12 and wall calendars in 2 (Canada and the United States). A routing system picks the closest production centre when you order. Occasionally, because of stock availability, an order is made in another country.

Yes. Tracking is free on every order, so you can follow your shipment in real time.

We have a 30-day return policy: you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be in the condition you received it, unused and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Please email us first to start a return. Items sent back without a request cannot be accepted. Some items, such as custom products and sale items, are not returnable; the full details are in our refund policy.
